The Cairns Entertainment Precinct (CEP) has a funding requirement of State Government that Council completes a Project Assurance Framework (PAF) for the proposed Cairns Entertainment Precinct (CEP). A component of the PAF is the Preliminary Evaluation (PE) which assesses the priority and affordability of the project options and the strategic decision of whether or not to progress the project.
CEP Meets Jurassic Park
I can’t help but think that the CEP project is desperately trying to run before it can walk. Stage one of this T-Rex at nearly 200 million dollars will have a mighty big appetite if we don’t feed it regularly and to be honest, we haven’t even done the study to find out what it eats. Who knows, if it gets really hungry it might just eat the lot of us with not so much as a burp. If I were the Council, I would be trying to find someway of training T-Rex to feed itself.
